Welcome to my Wedding Timelines sample page! Having a timeline will help you with the flow of your day. And if you are in the early stages of planning it can help to see what time is needed for photography during the day and to decide what time you want your ceremony and reception to begin.  There are two 8 hour timelines shown below.  One includes a "First Look" where the bride and groom see each other for the first time on wedding day in a private setting where they can have special moments to tell each other how happy they are, and how beautiful/handsome they look. It is a romantic and special time together. This allows more of the photography to be done prior to the ceremony allowing the bride and groom to join the reception following the ceremony. The other timeline sample has the bride and groom seeing each other for the first time as the bride walks down the aisle.  This timeline has the bridal party and family photos taken after the ceremony, and all join the reception after that. Something to think about.  It is your decision on how you would like your day to flow, and I am happy to work with you on your custom timeline.  Usually I meet a month ahead of the wedding day to go over the timeline, answer any questions and plan the day.  Once the timeline is finalized it is a good idea to share it with the parties involved:  family, bridal party, DJ, caterers,  wedding planner (if you don't have one, ask a good friend to help you on the wedding day with decorations, follow up with vendors, assist with organizing groups for the photos, etc.), and vendors so they know when they are expected to provide their services.
