First Look
The "First Look" is one of my favorite elements of a wedding. It is a wonderful time for the bride and groom to see each other dressed and ready for the wedding! So much anticipation and joy! It's an intimate time to be together, express how wonderful you each look, and how happy you are to be getting married on this day. Sometimes the bride and groom will share special vows with each other, or simply enjoy a hug or kiss. The photographer will capture these moments, and portraits can be taken of the couple to document this special time. (See my Timeline samples in Planning Aids that show the flow of the day with and without a First Look.)
If you choose to do a First Look you can also take the bridal party and family photos before the ceremony. And then head right to the reception. A First Look is not for everyone, and many brides choose to have her groom see her for the first time when she walks down the aisle. This is entirely your choice :)
